Endorphins

A belly laugh steals

the heaviness right out

of the room.

You didn’t plan it—

just something dumb

someone said on the couch.

But suddenly you’re

gasping, folded over,

wiped out in the

very best way.

After, you sit quieter,

lighter.

Not everything has to be

hard to be healing.
