How Good You Live Them
The quote was short—
just one line:
“How much good inside a day depends on how good you live them.”
I wrote it on a sticky note, put it
on the fridge. Now I measure my days
not in what I crossed off, but in what I
breathed in: music played, but not for money,
a horse’s breath rising in the cold,
a sandwich made with someone else’s eggs.
It’s not about the list. It’s not
about the weekend. It’s how you live them.
And how you remember
you still can.
