Virtual Joy

It’s a kind of quiet joy:

a typed “LOL” after

a joke, a smile caught

mid-yawn, a bookshelf

glimpsed behind a shy

seventh grader.

These pixels carry

more than lessons—

they carry us.

Not always polished, not

always camera-ready, but

present, together,

learning how to be

real across the wire.
