The Garden Remakes Itself
Not all beginnings are loud.
Some come in the hush
between decisions—
a slow recognition
that what we’ve built
no longer fits the shape
we are becoming.
So the trellis comes down.
A new path is cleared.
What once grew tall
makes room
for something low and blooming.
And the garden remakes itself
not by force,
but by a listening hand,
a season of rest,
and the promise
of roots
reaching
again.
